I have been a member on the site 'Points2Shop' for over 2 years now and having scrolled through various other posts about this site, feel that a new, detailed guide about how to earn points/cash on P2S would be useful both for those eager to earn a bit of beer money as well as the sceptics being driven away by the repeated calls of 'scam' and 'fake' by many users.

Before I begin a detailed guide into how to use the site, let me give you a bit of background information on my experiences with GPT sites, particularly P2S. I have used Swagbucks, InboxPounds, MySurveys, EpicRewards etc... over the years but Points2shop is easily my favourite. it has the widest range of offers, the best payouts and impeccable customer support, contrary to a lot of reviews I read about it.
Having been a member for 2 years (5-6 months active), I have been able to earn around $350 on the site through surveys, downloads and videos. 'Definitely a lie' I assume a lot of you are thinking...so here is some proof.
[Current Earnings 08/03/15]
[$100 paypal withdrawal]
[30kg Dumbell Set]
I have also earned $100 on an online debit card, some earphones and a pack of crayons (yes, my first reward!)
**Getting Started**
So now, having seen the proof of what you can do on the site, I can feel you're ready to get started. The first thing you need to do is get signed up. There are two links at the top of the article - use my referral link if you feel I have been helpful, or the general link if you feel I could have done a better job. Most of my help is coming later in the post so perhaps read through before signing up.
You have now signed up and received that 250 point sign up bonus. The next stage is filling in your demographics (information about you). Here are 3 important points:
- Ensure **all your information is correct** or you will have account issues - the info you complete offers with must match your account info so ensure your name and DOB are right.
- Your address should be where you reside the **majority of the year**, as it must match your IP address while completing offers. If you are at college or uni, use this as your address.
- Use a **valid email address** - they will send you a verification link. I advise making a new email address, it will become a spam magnet.
You will then arrive at the homepage, which looks like [this]
Most of the stuff here is very self-explanatory. I would like to point out the 'shoutbox' on the right hand side. As well as having a general chat, there will always be experienced members here available to answer all your questions about the site - they are very friendly.
**Earning Points/Cash**
Now you're ready to get started earning your own rewards. First things first, decide whether you want to earn points (redeem for rewards) or cash (withdraw to paypal). I recommend earning cash as you can convert cash -> points but **not vice versa**. You should also note some offers are points only.

Now for the offers. The site has many different earning opportunities from surveys and downloads, to free trials and paid offers. As you develop on the site you will discover your own preference - I personally enjoy surveys and free trials.
Follow all of these links to the easiest offers on the site:
[Reward TV 75 points/UK only]
[Reward TV 50 points/US only]
[Demographics 27 points]
[Download toolbar 25 points]
There are many other easy offers such as downloading the app, Soop, Facebook page like - these can all be found [here.]
Every 100 points you earn is equivalent to $1. Offers are generally worth between 20-50 points and take 5 minutes. Surveys can be worth between 50-300 points and take 3-30 minutes. It will always tell you how long the survey is beforehand so you know what to expect. Finally, free trials pay between 100-500 points. They always require card details but no payment until the free trial is over. **Note:** only complete free trial offers you are interested in as constant cancellation of these offers can lead to account issues and point reversals.
**Redeeming prizes/Withdrawing Cash**
After a few offers, you are ready to order your first prize. If you would like to redeem your points for a reward, you can do so [here]. There is a very extensive list of rewards, all of which come through Amazon except the gamer giftcards, so if its on Amazon you can get it with your points. However, if you are looking to withdraw as a cash payment (minimum of $1 on paypal, payza) your address must be validated first through a physical purchase. If you are in the US, you can order a $1 bill for 100 points, while in the UK, rewards can be got for as little as 2 points.
A list of these rewards are [here]
